The original Godzilla.
Godzilla (Gojira), was named after a legendary sea dragon that
lived off of the coast of Odo Island. Godzilla was born in 1954
by the radiation that came from the blast of the atomic bomb.
He attacked Tokyo and caused massive destruction. He was later
killed in Tokyo Bay by the oxygen destroyer. The oxygen destroyer
was a weapon created by Dr. Serisawa. It dissolved all of the
oxygen in water so no life form could breathe. The doctor destroyed
the formula and died with Godzilla, so the horrible weapon would
not be used again. In 1955, Godzilla appeared again and attacked
Osaka. t is unknown whether this Godzilla was the same Godzilla,
or another one. He met with the monster Anguirus, and killed
him after a long, rough battle. I Godzilla was later buried in
an iceburg by the Japanese Air Force using missiles to cause
an avalanche. Godzilla later broke out of the iceburg. Over the
next years, he fought the monsters King Kong, Mothra, Rodan,
King Ghidorah, Ebirah, Kamacuras, Kumonga, Gabara, Hedorah, Gigan,
Megalon, Mechagodzilla, and Titanosaurus. He switched from being
an enemy to Japan, to Japan's savior. In 1999, the United Nations
captured, and relocated him, along with all of the other monsters
of the world, to Monsterland in the Ogasawara Islands, where
he will be safe, and not a threat to the world. |
