Godzilla vs.
Destoroyah |

| Well-known as
being what was suppossed to be Godzilla's last foe. Destoroyah
(pronounced: "destroyer) is basically the Oxygen Destroyer,
the weapon that killed the original Godzilla, gone mad. The Oxygen
Destroyer, over the years, had a large effect on Precambrian-Age
micro-organisms that were in Tokyo Bay, the site where the Oxygen
Destroyer was set off. Destoroyah started out as many little
tiny creatures that attacked a fish aquarium. Then the creatures
grew larger into walking crab-like creatures. The creatures combined
and created the next form, which was a much larger form of the
crab-like creatures. Then a flying form, and then the adult Destoroyah.
While Destoroyah was fighting Godzilla and Godzilla Junior, he
changed from form to form. Destoroyah was finally destroyed (no
pun intended, haha) by special cooling weapons aboard the Super
X-III and laser cannons. After Destoroyah was killed, the Super
X-III and laser cannons tried to stop Godzilla's meltdown by
using the same weapons, which failed. Many Godzilla fans tend
to compare Destoroyah to Hedorah, the smog monster. Hedorah,
like Destoroyah, has a tadpole-like phase, a flying phase, and
a walking phase. |
