Hello there Godzilla
fans! Thank you for visiting my website! Godzilla has been around the world
for almost 50 years. He has made such an impact on this world,
that today, he has become a household word. The common person
seems to believe that Godzilla is just a big dinosaur pest that
stomps on Tokyo a lot. Godzilla is not a big dinosaur pest though,
he's an actual character in all of his movies. Although he doesn't
talk (except in Godzilla vs. Gigan, where Godzilla talks
in distorted English in a couple of scenes), he always gives
you the feeling that he's an actual person. This is a major reason
why TriStar's 1998 remake was n ot
liked among many. Godzilla, of course, has a bad reputation of
having "cheesy" special effects in his movies. People
seem to mistake though, that Godzilla movies were always considered
like this. No they weren't. Did you know that the special
effects in the original Godzilla movie was considered far ahead
of its time? In fact, American filmmakers were always wondering
why the Japanese had created much better special effects compared
to their standards! The first Godzilla movie was made in 1954,
named Gojira. It was originally supposed to be a stand-alone
movie. Gojira, though, was so popular and so profitable,
that Toho (the company that makes the Godzilla movies) made a
sequel five months after the movie was released. Toho completed
twenty-three more Godzilla movies. They are now currently working
on their twenty-fifth flick: Godzilla-Mothra-King Ghidorah: Daikaiju
Soukougeki. |

January 26, 2002: Hey there! I haven't been able to
update my site too much because of school, exams, and indoor
track meets. I added Titanosaurus, Megalon, and King Seesar in
the "Kaiju-Stats" section. I'm working on the photo
gallery for Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah and Godzilla
vs. Mothra (1992), so keep your eyes peeled!
